Animal Feed
Limestone is the main source of Calcium for poultry, animal and fish which is ideal for development of bones in Animals and egg shells in poultry.
Our Feed Grade Limestone has high whiteness and Ca content (>38%) which is ideal for poultry, animals and fish for teeth and bone formation, cardiac regulation, blood clotting, transmission of nerve impulses, and activation of enzymes.
Glass
Around 8-12% Limestone is added to batch of Silica Sand and Soda Ash which is heated to 1500ºC to produce molten glass. The soda makes the glass soluble, soft and not durable; therefore limestone is added to act as a stabilizer and increases the hardness and chemical durability of glass.
Soda-Lime Glass is the most popular glass manufactured today and we provide Limestone with high CaO (54-55%) and low impurities such as Fe2O3 (<0.04%) which is ideal for making soda-lime glass
